HIStory: Past and Present My life in chess began as a player but my passion to the game is what I have to offer to others. As such, I have provided the opportunities for many to enjoy and appreciate the game as much as I do. Since 1997, I have coached many players for which some of whom have made it to the top successfully while many others are still enjoying the game. From Penang island to as far as Singapore, I have groomed countless players and many have proven their credibility in picking up this game fast and showing positive results, of which several talented players are currently representing the state and national level. Players such as Victor Hong is one talented example under my guidance. Started at a tender age, his effort from 2 years of intensive training has brought many fruitful achievements. His major breakthrough came at the National Juniors tournament as he emerged as the champion of the Under-12 Boys category, thus representing Malaysia in the annual Malaysia - Singapore Match. I have trained many champions in my career as a trainer. Players who have reaped the fruits of success are those who believe in themselves and always striving hard to excel. Ups and downs The only setback was the abolishment of MSSM from year 1997 to 2003. Year 2004 was the rebirth of chess in MSSM and it's time to give our players a chance to experience the opportunity of a lifetime! QUALITY Results Many of my students have pushed their limits to excel in this game. Below are some of them who pursued further, beyond the boundaries to reach greater heights.
