Junior Chess Circuit 2005 (2nd Leg) - 30th May 2005 - Held in SK Sri Aman inconjunction with the preparation of players for MSSM, this event gathered 98 players from all over Penang. The intensity of the battle came from the boys' category where strong fields contended include Lim Wei Kang, Lim Wei Yang, Lee Hai Sherng, Tan Yik Ping, Gavin Fong and several other upcoming players. The girls' category were dominated by the Lee sisters; Lee Hai Ying and Lee Hai Wen, together with another MSSM candidate, Siti Humairah, battling in the neck-to-neck race in this event.
